Mr. Joseph Gonzalez was the founding headmaster of Chesterton Academy of the Immaculate Heart in Volo, Illinois and taught philosophy, theology, Euclidean geometry, literature, drama, and fencing during his five years there. A cradle Catholic, Joseph has been involved in Catholic liberal education ever since he attended the Lyceum, graduating in 2011. He has a Bachelor’s in philosophy from Christendom College and a Master’s in philosophy from Wayne State University in Detroit. His free time is often spent pursuing philosophy with his friends, visiting his nephews and godchildren, and writing. He is grateful for the opportunity to return to his alma mater in an administrative capacity.
