Joseph Kucel hails from Michigan, where he worked for Michael Voris at Church Militant TV for several years. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy, he became interested in philosophy and the liberal arts. After completing the economics degree, he enrolled at Thomas Aquinas College in California where he studied the great books, philosophy, and the liberal arts. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College in 2016. Mr. Kucel joined the Lyceum faculty in 2018 where he teaches Latin, mathematics, biology and other science classes. He also co-leads the Great Books literature class with Headmaster Macik. His passions are teaching Latin and singing Gregorian Chant.
